OUR INTENTION FOR 2026
Chicago thrives when we come together — and that’s exactly what our local events are all about. We host thoughtfully curated gatherings across the city to spotlight businesses we love, celebrate the people behind them, and create space for genuine community connection. From intimate pop-ups to neighborhood meetups, our community events are designed to feel warm, welcoming, and very Chicago: local-first, relationship-driven, and rooted in supporting the small businesses and creatives that make this city special. Whether you’re a longtime neighbor or new to the block, these events are an invitation to show up, connect, and be part of something shared.

FREE COFFEE + ARCHITECTURE WALK IN MAYFAIR
10:00 AM: Meet us at Casa Cactus in Mayfair + enjoy a coffee on us!
10:15 AM: Begin the 1.5 mile walk through Mayfair
11:30 AM: Return back to Plant Shop Chicago to browse + shop!
Led by Meg Grochowiak of Groho Group
Join us for Meg’s Community Birthday Event! Let’s sip, stroll, and discover the Mayfair neighborhood in Chicago. On this relaxed neighborhood walk, guests will stroll along Elston Avenue’s unique diagonal streetscape, pass through historic bungalow-lined blocks filled with early 20th-century homes, and explore the striking Art Deco buildings along Lawrence Avenue, all while hearing the stories behind the architecture and community before ending back at Casa Cactus to shop. This is a slow-paced, leisurely walk. All ages welcome.
